Great pools, warm and kid-friendly. Comfortable bed and clean room. Good amenities, including in-room coffee and useful outlets. Easy check-out and connected parking garage.
Nothing all good.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and nice. The breakfast was great, and even though the hotel cafe was temporarily closed, we still made the most of our weekend. The shower head in our room was absolutely amazing and gave us the best shower we've had in ages. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was near Bushnell Park and a short walk away from a very nice restaurant and the Bushnell Center theater. It was also convenient for exploring Connecticut's capital city.
Nothing. It is perfect!

Location was good.
Room size was smaller than typical. Did not have an outdoor pool as listed on Booked.net., very disappointed about that!

I stay here every year when Dave Matthews is playing at xfinity. The rooms on the street side tend to suck because you can hear the traffic and people, but there's not much you can do. The staff is always extremely friendly and this year was the first time they were catering to people there for the concert. Asking everyone checking in if they were here for Dave Matthews and telling them the easiest way to get to the venue was awesome to see. The bartender/waiter during the day, Ryan, was fantastic both times I visited. At night, David kept the bar going until 2AM! Credit goes to JP Sandy, the front office Manager. The great morale starts from the top. I love staying there because the people are so garsh darn nice it's crazy.
Couldn't recommend more this hotel.

Clean and in a great location!
The lines to check in and out of the hotel were incredibly long. I forgot my phone charger and they want to bill me for the postage. It is literally going to be about 50 cents. I think the Hilton should be able to cover that cost!

I got great value for my money at Hilton. The room was amazing, with a super comfy bed, and the view was lovely. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even better.
Hotel breakfast could have been improved with more variety of food options.

The hotel is located in a great area which makes getting around downtown easy. The staff is very friendly and attentive, especially Christine at the front desk who provided us with a room on the higher floors with a terrific view of the city.
All was ok.

Great value for money, amazing service from Christine at the front desk, prime location to access bars and restaurants nearby, and rooms with a fantastic view of the city from higher floors.
All was well, no improvement needed.

The room was clean and comfortable. We felt safe with the key card elevator access. The shower had hot water and the bed/pillows were very comfortable. The hotel was quiet and the staff was friendly and helpful. The front desk employees were especially accommodating.
Everything great.

The bed was nice, window opened a little to bring in fresh air. The alarm clock was nice with outlets for phone chargers, etc. Room seemed very clean and was comfortable.
The bathroom was much smaller than expected- more so than a cheap motel bathroom. The toilet was so close to the door that the door almost hit the toilet when opening. The shower head made a squealing sound- not the typical drone of a shower head- a grating squealing noise that didn't make for the relaxing shower I was hoping for. There were no extra towels and the hair dryer handle became unbearably hot within the first few minutes of use. I had to turn it off because it was burning my hand. There was no microwave in the room and the coffee maker and hotel phones were outdated- not what I would expect at a Hilton. Perhaps the biggest letdown was breakfast. While I'm sure it was delicious, breakfast is NOT complimentary and is actually quite expensive. They don't even have bagels for free, like most hotels offer. My husband wanted to stay somewhere with complimentary breakfast that he could grab before he went to his 7am meeting on Saturday morning. We booked the Hilton thinking it would be the best breakfast- not realizing he would end up paying $20 for eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Talk about overpriced. To top it all off, we found out as we were checking out that parking was $18.00. We've never had to pay for hotel parking and certainly didn't expect it when we already paid $120.00 for a one night stay and $20.00 for one breakfast meal. One night's stay, mediocre at best, cost us $158.00... You begin to see that you're better off staying elsewhere. We explained the issues we had to the staff member who checked us out of our room and she didn't apologize or express much interest in what we had to say. She had the attitude of "it is what it is" - if you know anything about customer service, there's a problem with that attitude. When you can have a wonderful stay in a clean, cozy Hampton with a great free breakfast and even more amenties than Hilton at a CHEAPER price... That's a no brainier.

tried to charge us a $50 late checkout fee even though there was a long line to check out on time so we couldn't make it!

The value for our money was excellent, with spacious and cozy rooms that were kept clean. The location was great, offering beautiful views. The staff treated us with utmost kindness and professionalism, going above and beyond to assist us during our stay.
Breakfast choices could have been better, with a wider variety of options to choose from.
